We breathe 90% of total air in indoor conditions like home, office, school, public places etc. The indoor air pollution is a combination of outdoor pollution & pollution generated inside our home. Outdoor pollution largely consists of Dust (PM2.5), Pollen, Smoke and toxic gases produced from vehicle emission, factories & open drains. Whereas indoor air pollution consists of various chemicals (VOCs), Virus, Bacteria, Fungi, Molds, Suffocation or Staleness in air, Pet Dander, Dust Mites, fumes produced by burning candles/incense sticks and toxic smoke from cigarette & cooking food. This is the reason world health organization states that indoor air is 2-5 times more than polluted than outdoor air.
